Delta Sky Club Laguardia Airport
Adco was proud to work for Turner Construction, a renowned Construction Management firm, who was responsible for the construction of the 30,000+ square foot Sky Club Lounge, the largest in the airline’s system. Designed by Corgan and Gensler, the club has a turn-of-the-20th-century New York theme, including custom works of art developed in partnership with the Queens Museum. There is a central dining area, full bar, media wall and views of the airfield from floor to ceiling windows. The club has considered every possible seating option including conference rooms, solo chairs, individual work stations, and small and large dining tables. There is a cocktail lounge, two buffets and a state of the art kitchen.
Adco was responsible for the technology distribution within the club, providing the fabrication and installation of the Structured Cabling System as well as the installation of the state of the Electronic Security System for the selected technology solutions. Working in collaboration with our client and the design team, we provided the modeling, coordination, furnishing and installation of the fully functional low voltage systems with the Sky Club, supporting the integrated technology experience.
The design team was led by engineering firms Burns & McDonnell and Arup, supported by Architecture firms Corgan and Gensler. Delta served as the general contractor and construction management partners were led by Turner Construction, STV, Satterfield & Pontiffs and Group PMX.
